ONTARIO IMMIGRANT NOMINEE PROGRAM (OINP)
Ontario is located in Central Canada, it is Canada’s most populous province. It is home to the nation’s capital city, Ottawa, and Toronto. Ontario is the center of Canada’s economic, social, and political life. Ontario is by far the leading destination for newcomers to Canada. The province welcomes one third of all newcomers each year. People chose to land in Ontario because of its job opportunities, high income and diverse population.
Ontario’s Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) is called the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP). The OINP recognizes and nominates people for permanent residence who have the skills and experience the Ontario economy needs, and the Government of Canada makes the final decision to approve applications for permanent residence. It works in partnership with the Government of Canada through Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

Compared to the usual 17 to 32 month processing time, it seems like a very short time. The process of receiving a work permit can take as little as six months for prepared applicants.
